The two tenets of becoming a Soulwright

We seek to restore the Kingdom back to itself, back to Him. This means that we must become the kinds of people capable of such a work.
The two tenets of what it means to be a Soulwright are bound up in covenant kindness and spiritual formation.

I

Covenant Kindness

The one idea that has shaped our identity more than anything else is the single most shattering notion in the history of the world: the Creator God became just like us, so that He could make us just like Him. This alone should consume our efforts with one another. Nothing is worth losing sight of the love that we are meant to have. At the bottom of it all: we are simply Jesus people.

II

Spiritual Formation

As a community we continually present our bodies to the work of transformation as we seek out new arts of peace in the restoration of the Kingdom. What we want is to see Jesus’s Prayer fulfilled. Our work is to do everything that we can to make that happen. Therein we begin with ourselves. Body, mind and spirit, the whole person is engaged in His kind of life and wholeness.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
— Ephesians 3:14-17a
